For three consecutive years black sparrow created a pop up House of Vans space during Berlin Fashion Week, taking over the incredible Stadtbad Oderberger Straße, the ‘People’s Bathhouse of Berlin’.
The venue hosted 3 free and memorable nights of music, photography, skate culture and street fashion in collaboration with creative forces Firmament, Boiler Room and skate legends Ray Barbee and Tommy Guerrero. House of Vans visitors experienced a photography exhibit that paying homage to the DIY sensibilities of skateboarding with contributers including Mofo, Bryce Kanights , Tobin Yelland , Neil Blender , Grant Brittain , Atiba Jefferson & Gabe Morford and an incredible vintage exhibit showcasing Vans commitment to authenticity over the last 47 years with over 200 incredibly rare pairs of original shoes from Europe’s finest collectors.
